Order

Confirmation of your order will always be sent to your email. However, the products you have ordered may have run out before our stock status has been updated on the site. In the case of this event, we will contact you via email. Please get in touch with us if you do not receive a confirmation email when your order has been sent.

Delivery is available in cooperation with Royal Mail, sent using First Class mail. The normal delivery time is 3-5 working days from when your order is received and processed by us. We reserve the right to send part of the order, where the items ordered are in stock and received from our suppliers. We pack our items as flat as possible so that you can receive them through your letterbox. If an item is too large to fit through the letterbox, you will receive a notice from the nearest postal delivery point. Take the slip there and pick up your order. If you have not received your order within one week of ordering, contact us so that we can assist you with your case. 

We are not responsible for any delays caused by postal services or our suppliers. 


Prices and shipping fee

All prices include VAT and are quoted in British Pound Sterling (£). 
There is a shipping fee of £3.90 for each order. Orders over £50 will receive free shipping! We reserve the right to modify or cancel orders. 



Return policy

From the day that you receive your order from us, you have a 14 day period to exchange or return your products. You must return the products in their original undamaged and unmarked packaging. Should the product be a hygiene product (such as lenses, make-up and perfumes) the packaging needs to remain sealed and unopened for a valid return.


If the product you wish to return meets the above requirements then send it to us with a note where you write your order number and what action you wish to take (exchange for a different product of the same value, refund or complaint). Send the parcel to the following address:

When we receive your return we will contact you and handle the errand as quickly as possible.


Reimbursements for card purchases (Visa, MasterCard etc.) must, by law, be made to the card in question. The refund can take up to 5 working days.
Contact lenses are considered a medical product, and are thus an exception to the consumer law which states that a customer is allowed to open the packaging of a product to verify that the product is in full working condition, without violating terms & conditions. Opening a contact lens package violates terms & conditions.


Payment Methods 

We provide our customers with a choice of two payment methods: 

Credit Card
Our secure card payments are issued by Klarna Checkout. Klarna’s central system is certified according to the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). 
If you are paying with a Maestro or Visa Electron card, you must check and see if your bank has authorized your card for online purchases.

Paypal
Once you confirm the transaction, the payment order will be executed via PayPal. When we see that the payment is processing, an order confirmation e-mail will be sent to the address you provided. We will only send your products after the PayPal transaction has been fully completed.

Age Limit

There is no legal age limit for using lenses. However, if you are under 18 you must have a parent’s or guardian’s consent before ordering from us. We also advise you to consult an eye specialist before using our products. 
We are not responsible for minors who, through breach of parent’s or guardian’s trust/consent, order from our website.
We encourage parents and guardians of minors to monitor the minor’s online browsing.
Our goods are sent in good faith, any dispute over a minor’s purchase is a dispute which must be resolved between his/her parent or guardian.


Discounts

Discount codes often have a time limit and are restricted to one coupon per person. Cosmeticlenses.co.uk state that the distribution of discount codes is personal and therefore reserve the right to deny the use of a customer discount code that was not directly provided by Cosmeticlenses.co.uk

Privacy Policy

We strictly adhere to the Data Protection Act. Any personal information that you provide us with will only be viewed and handled by us in order to process and deliver the product to the right person and address. We may also use your personal information for marketing purposes, but in such cases it is for our own marketing purposes, no third party will be legally able to view or access your personal details.
You have the right to know which of your personal information we have in our database, and you can request to have it changed or deleted.
When you order from us, you automatically give us the consent to use your personal information.


Damage and loss

We are responsible for any damage or loss of goods from our warehouse to the customer’s address. In turn, the customer is responsible for any damage or loss of goods from their address to our warehouse in case of a return.

In the case of a manufacturing defect, we will replace the product. The customer returns the product to us, we send this to the suppliers and send a new product to the customer.
We do not replace goods that could have been damaged by daily use. If you have a complaint, please contact our customer support.



Prescription from a licensed optometrist / ophthalmologist

Whenever you order lenses with strength, you must have a valid prescription, from an optometrist or ophthalmologist, less than 12 months old.
When you check the “I have read the conditions of use and I agree to them” box during the order process you confirm that you have a valid prescription for your order.

Other conditions

We are not responsible for any typographical errors or defects the product may have, that is the suppliers’ responsibility. 
If a product is temporarily out of stock this can increase the expected delivery time, you as a customer will be informed if this happens.
Colours may vary due to differing computer settings, we do not take responsibility for any shade variations. 
We can not guarantee the colour result as this will differ from one individual to another depending on original eye colour.
We can not guarantee that the products’ images on our website reflect the products’ exact appearance.

All attempts at fraud or other illegal activities will be followed by police action. We store all IP addresses.
